Peace is a mission for all

Peace is the most important issue that concerns the nations, governments, and peoples of the world. It is also in the center of interest for many world organizations. That is why the United Nations General Assembly designated the twenty -first of September each year to be the International  Peace Day in order to push the international efforts to create peace, stop wars, start negotiations and establish harmony among the adversaries. Unfortunately peace has not so far been achieved in some parts of the world ,and its  people  have not enjoyed it ;thus they have not been able to pursue the efforts of development and have not been able to participate in them. They have lost most of their capabilities and lost their wealth and resources because of wars and conflicts.

Losses are still going on and those who wanted peace have not yet enjoyed its accomplishments. That is only because they have not realized that peace is the responsibility of all. They all need to know that peace is a comprehensive system that begins with commitment to work based on values and manners. That is followed by broad mindedness and mutual understanding in order to coexist and abandon conflicts, struggles and hatred. Humans are not created to kill and exterminate each other. That is why we should not ignore the role of peace in creating mercy, toleration, and love among people.

We all need to understand that investment in peace is no less important than investment in economical resources. We all need to agree and follow in this direction as peace needs individual as well as societal efforts. It also needs decisions which stem from putting the higher interest over the lesser interest. As money breeds more money, so does peace breed more peace.

What surprises me now in the year 2020, is that some have not yet comprehended the value of peace in the human development despite the wars and conflicts which the world has lived through. With peace comes the development for all,and with peace comes education for children, and health and social care come for all people. That is because all resources get to be directed towards construction that brings decent life to all.

We need to see all the governments and states which lack peace and stability forget their conflicts and start planting the seeds of peace in order to be able to reap the fruits. Then every human being will be able to live a decent life which everybody deserves. Life is short and will pass fast. That is why all need to bear the responsibility for creating the circumstances which enable them to accept each other and coexist with each other. That is what enhances peace rather than wars, conflicts and losses which ultimately bring failure to themselves.

On this day and on all days, I call on all to work for peace and to do their best for it. With peace all will live in growth and welfare.
