Issued by the National Archives in five volumes, this book monitors the extent of development that the UAE has witnessed since 1972, the year on which the diaries began. The diaries highlight the contributions of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Mother of the Emirates, in her roles as President of the General Women’s Union, President the Supreme Council for Family Development, and Chair of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood. Her contributions encompass the social, economic, media, political and sports arenas, and support for the achievements of Emirati women in various fields. This book comes as a continuation of the diaries of the sheikhs launched by the National Archives, starting with the diaries of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (1966- 2004).
