Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak was awarded more than 500 local, regional and international medals in appreciation of her tremendous efforts in various fields, with emphasis on the support and empowerment of women, charitable, humanitarian, cultural and social activities.

  • Attribute from the United Nations Fund for Population Activities, in recognition of her efforts and support for the issues and activities of the Fund  1986.
  • In a first-of-its-kind initiative, the spouses of 55 Heads of Diplomatic Envoys approved in UAE have paid tribute to Her Highness on 4 September 1995 as an appreciation for her unlimited contributions in highlighting UAE women and their progress and for her leading role in orphans and disabled care.
  • Tribute and Award from UN Population Fund in 1997 in appreciation of her efforts for 15 years in the development of women and family in education and social services.
  • Tribute and award by the UNICEF in 1997 in appreciation of her leading role in the development and welfare of women and children.
  • An award from World Health Organization in 1997 in appreciation of her role in the social and health improvement of women in the UAE and Arab countries.

  • Awarded the Mother Teresa Humanitarian Medal and a certificate of appreciation by the Republic of Kosovo for her contributions in the humanitarian work and her constant commitment to improving people’s living conditions across the world, April 2015.
  • Granted the Certificate of Merit by the University of Florida in recognition of her great efforts in promoting the Emirati women’s education and their empowerment to keep pace with the latest scientific developments, June 2015.
  • The Personal Leadership Award 2016 from the International Telecommunication Union, ITU, for achieving gender equality in the field of telecommunication and information technology on a par with the global level, December 2016.
  • Awarded an honorary PhD by the University of Bradford in recognition of her efforts in women’s empowerment at the domestic, regional and international levels, March 2017.
  • Singapore has named a rare kind of Orchid flower in the National Botanic Gardens in Singapore after H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, as an example of the Arab woman, and as an appreciation for the exceptional humanitarian contributions of Her Highness, which transcends national and regional borders, and extends to the international, March 2017.
  • Awarded the “Agent of Change Award” by the UN Women – the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women – and the Global Partnerships Forum, GPF, in recognition of her contributions and achievements in areas of women’s empowerment and gender equality in the UAE and beyond, September 2017.
  • Honored by the World Family Organisation, WFO, with the International Family Advocate Award for her outstanding contribution to the well-being of families worldwide, December 2017.
  • Silver Fish Medal the highest honour in Girl Scouting in Egypt in appreciation of her support to Women Scout in UAE and the Arab Countries in 1989.
  • The Renaissance Medal from Late Jordanian Monarch King Hussain Bin Talal, the highest accolade in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan 1989.
  • Granting the Lebanese city of Qana key in honor of Her Highness and recognition of her efforts and contribution to the reconstruction of the city in 1999.
  • Literacy civilization of the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science Award 1999.
  • The first  Lady Arab Award from the Center for Arab women’s participation studies, Arab Women organization 2003.
  • Honorary PhD Degree from the Algerian University in 2005.
  • Al Atheer Medal by a decision from H.E. President Abdulaziz Butafliqa, President of the Republic of Algeria the highest medal in Algeria in appreciation of her role in serving the humanitarian objectives and contributions for the development of UAE and Arab Women 2005.
  • Distinguished Women Medal from Arab Producers Union in the Arab League 2011.
  • Tribute in Morocco in 2012 in appreciation of her Humanitarian support to People with Special needs in Morocco and her humanitarian, social and charitable initiative in favor of poor families.

  • Forbes Middle East Person of the Year Award for Leading Women in the Arab World 2014.
  • Honorary Doctorate degree in community development from the Sudan University of Science and Technology October 20, 2014.

  • Arab Producers General Union granted “Arab Excellence Shield” to H.H. Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak in appreciation of Her Highness efforts in supporting development projects and remarkable contributions to the empowerment of Arab women and support their cause and also as an appreciation and gratefulness for her extensive effort in serving the human and women community in 2015.
  • Arab Producers General Union granted H.H. Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak the title of “Mother of Arabs” in appreciation for her human and charitable efforts 2015.
  • Family Happiness Medal granted to Her Highness by the Arab League and Arab Family Organization in appreciation for Her Highness role, initiatives and sincere efforts in embracing Arab women cause and providing decent care to the family.
  • Awarded the title “mother of the Arabs” from the League of Arab States in recognition of her efforts and initiatives in the advancement of women through the international, Arab and Gulf organizations 2015.
  • Distinguished Arab Woman in Healthcare Management Award by the Arab Hospitals Federation (AHF), in recognition of her efforts and support to the Arab healthcare sector, March 2016.

  • In 2010, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan the Rulers Representative in the Western Region granted her the Humanitarian Work Crescent Medal and an appreciation certificate for her continuous support to the activities and programs of the Red Crescent Authority.
  • Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan International Horse Festival 2011 granted an award to Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak in appreciation of her local, regional and international support of women activities.
  • Sheikha Fatima was awarded Mohamed Bin Rashid Scarf on January 4, 2012 for her Historical Role in supporting UAE Women and Family.
  • “Distinguished Personality of the Year” by the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for the Distinguished Academic Performance in its 14th session, in appreciation of her highness’ role in Women Education and her unlimited support to Educational Process 2013.
