Teacher

Since the establishment of the UAE, good leadership has prioritized education and teacher in all development strategies and plans, believing that education is the first key to all knowledge, science and technology, while adhering to principles, ethics and values.

Principles and ethics are the foundation and pillars of building civilizations of peoples and sustaining their existence and power. This is why the teacher is the mediator who transmits these human values and principles and ethical dealings to the generations within the educational process and in the school environment and its surroundings. It is the teacher's responsibility to build generations equipped with science and ethics.

Therefore, the founder of the state Sheikh Zayed – May Allah Bless his Soul – directed to pay attention to the teacher and provide all necessary financial and moral support for him.   The government of HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, worked to translate the vision and strategies of the educational process and to pay attention to the teacher as a human force and provide him with appropriate training and qualification and open the way for him to gain the best experiences in order to be able to translate the aspirations of the State in building and preparing generations to enable these generations to carry out their duties in the process of sustainable development.

The teacher of yesterday and today will remain at the heart of the educational process.   He is the real expert in his field, and always needs the support that enables him to do his job. Many successful teachers realize that their knowledge is not enough only in the areas they teach. Teacher’s job is not just to teach science, but to educate students. The teacher also plays the role of mentor, instructor and supporter to his students and is able to raise their self-confidence and help them find the appropriate ways for them and urge them to believe in their abilities.

I emphasize in this context that the system of the educational process, which includes schools, management, environment, activities, curricula and teachers, cannot achieve the development goals required by the educational process if not adopt the principle of the presence of a successful teacher in all axes of this system. The teacher and his preparation and capacity building will remain a development goal in itself In order to achieve the development goals that have the greatest impact on the continuation of the State's progress and development.
